Raven license
Open source. Free. For anything.
Raven is open source under the Apache License 2.0. No watermark, no edition to buy, no license file, no royalties. Take the code, use it, change it, ship it.
What you can do
What you make with Raven is yours.
Sell it, ship it to clients, keep its source closed, use it at work. Raven itself is yours to study, fork and improve.
Use it
In any project, personal or commercial, open or closed, for one user or a million. Every feature, every widget, every platform.
Change it
The whole source is on GitHub. Fork it, patch it, add a widget or a backend, ship your modified version.
Keep the notice
The one thing Apache 2.0 asks: when you redistribute Raven or a modified copy of it, keep its license and copyright notices, and say what you changed.
Questions
FAQ.
Is there still a watermark or a paid edition?
No. Raven is open source; there is nothing to buy and nothing to unlock.
I bought a license before. What changes for me?
Nothing breaks: you keep using Raven exactly as before, and you no longer need a license file. For any question about a past purchase, write to oscarsoirey.contact@gmail.com.
Can I sell software made with Raven?
Yes. Whatever you build with Raven is yours: sell it, ship it, close its source.
Do I have to open the source of my program?
No. Apache 2.0 is a permissive license: it does not require the programs that use Raven to be open source.
How can I help?
Report bugs, send pull requests, or star the project on GitHub.
